SME House Amsterdam
The programme of SME House Amsterdam includes classical and contemporary chamber music, minimal music, film music and crossover.
It is a place where chamber music feels close and natural. There is no distance of a large concert hall: musicians and listeners are brought together, and each evening is built around live performance and a direct connection with the music.
Our concert repertoire consists of outstanding musical works from different eras, experimental music and sensual film music in our own arrangements, represented in best live music venues of Berlin, Vienna, Basel, and other European centers.
The studio team is constantly in creative search and is constantly developing, implementing new ideas, expanding the boundaries of its creative activity.
Concerts take place in many different formats, from solo evenings and small chamber programmes to performances by larger ensemble line-ups.
Each programme is selected specifically for the intimate concert format and the atmosphere of Kompaszaal.
SME House Amsterdam by Kompaszaal is a regular music series with changing programmes and line-ups, developing throughout the season.
